The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course is Following the format Of Jon Kabat Zinn’s Programme as taught by Bangor University. It is an eight-week course that runs for 2 hours per session. You will be guided in mindfulness meditation practice during the sessions and each week an aspect of mindfulness will be explored within the group. The course is experiential, so it is all about your experience.
Group discussion and feedback is encouraged however there is no pressure to engage with conversation as learning is individual, sharing experiences with others however can be beneficial to the individual and the group members.
Home practice is a progressive part of the course and is designed to allow personal growth through practice. Resources are given to all participants and equipment is supplied for the sessions. All that is required from the participants is an open honest approach to whatever arises, as best you can.
Wherever possible a one-day retreat is provided for participants to experience a full day of mindfulness practice.
Personal support is provided by Francesca your facilitator as and when needed.
